Principal Officers


Dr. Awelenje Babatunde was born in 1969. He is an indigene of Lagos Island Local Government of Lagos State and a graduate of Lagos State University with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He also posses ordinary and advanced diploma in Electrical engineering of City and Guilds of  London.

He has served as the Vice President of Southwest zone of Paralympics Committee of Nigeria, Governing Board member of Para-athletic Federation of Nigeria, Chairman of Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities [JONAPWD], Lagos State Chapter and till date, Chairman of Lagos State Special Sports Association[a voluntary service].His medical education and adequate knowledge of Paralympics sports coupled with the fact that he himself, is living with disability, made him a resourceful person on disability issues. He believes in diligence and fairness.

She obtained a B.Sc. degree in Economics from the Lagos State University in 1990 and M.Sc. degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from the University of Lagos in 1996.She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

She worked with various public and private organizations before joining the Lagos State Civil Service in Y2000 as an Inspector of Taxes II. She was later deployed to the Office of Auditor General for Local Government in 2005 after which her cadre was re-designated to a Senior Administrative Officer in Y2006. In 2009, she was deployed to the Civil Service Pensions Office before moving to the Lagos State Pension Commission in October, 2009 as part of the take-off staff of the Commission.

She was recently deployed to the Lagos State Office of Disability Affairs in March, 2013 as part of the take-off staff of the Office.

She has attended various training programmes/ workshops sponsored by the Lagos State Government.

She is married with children.

Born on the 1st of January 1969, Ademiluyi Adebowale Abiodun, a physically challenged person, attended special school at the Nursery and Primary School level – Ile Aanu Oluwa Kiisu and Atunda Olu Schools for physically challenged respectively. He completed his secondary school education at the prestigious St. Gregory’s college, Ikoyi Lagos in 1988 while he studied Mass communication at the Ogun State Polytechnics Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria between 1993-1998.

For his outstanding individual project while serving, Ademiluyi, along with other five bagged the prestigious NYSC State award among over 6000 contemporaries that served in Lagos in year 2000 making the then governor offer the six automatic employment into the State Civil Service.

Five years down the line, Ademiluyi popularly called Ade received another honour as a distinguished information officer of the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy.

He was posted to the Ministry of Youth Sport and Social Development and later Office of Youth and Social Development in 2008 as a P.R.O. and was diligent in his duties which endeared him to all and sundry that came across him including heads of his ministry.

Highly sociable, he took part in various rated and unrated table tennis-special sports local and international competitions like the National Sports Festivals, COJA All African Games 2003, winning medals including Gold, Silver and Bronze.

He, in spite of his physical challenge is an activist/unionist as he was the vice chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy Chapel for six years 2003-2010, the largest chapel in Lagos State UNJ Council.

He was posted to the Lagos State office for Disability Affairs (LASODA) as head, Press and Public Relations in August, 2013.    

Mr. Alejo Adegboyega Adeoye is the Deputy Director in charge of the Social Development and Integration Department of the Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA). He was formerly with the office of Youth & Social Development Department during which he presided over various divisions of the department like Youth programmes, voluntary organizations and field services etc., coupled with representing the Ministry in various committees i.e. LSACA, Drug Abuse Control Committee etc. He also served briefly with the community & Human Integration Department.

Mr. Alejo holds a B.Sc. & Master degree in Sociology from the Lagos State University & University of Lagos, Akoka respectively. He is a member of the Nigerian Association of Social Workers (NASOW), Nigerian Association of Management (NIM) Youth Development Initiative (YDI) etc. He has flair for reading, writing, sport and current affairs. 

Mr. Ashiru Kehinde Oladipupo he was born September 7th, 1964. He attended Luba Comprehensive high School Ijebu-Ode for his secondary Education from 1973 to 1977.
Thereafter, he proceeded to Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin and University of Lagos where he obtained Higher National Diploma in Marketing, Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Master of Business Administration respectively; he is also a member of the institute of chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He worked with Lagos State Investment Company Limited [a parastatal of Lagos State Government] between 1995 and 2011, and he was later transferred to mainstream of Civil Service in the year 2011.
He was deployed to the State Treasury Office as Principal Accountant from September 2011 to 2012. Therefore, while still on the same post he was deployed to Civil service Commission from year 2012 to 2015. Presently, he has been deployed to Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs as assistant Chief Accountant.

She obtained a M.ed. Education Foundation in Measurement and Evaluation from University of Lagos, Akoka in 2012 and B. Sc [HON] degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing from University of Greenwich, Woolwich, United Kingdom in 1998. She is a member of the Nigerian Statistical Association and Royal Statistical Society, London. She joined the Lagos State Civil Service in year 2001 as a statistician in the Ministry of Economic Planning and budget. She had worked with Office of Transformation and Ministry of Finance, and recently deployed to Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs as the head of the Planning Unit as Principal Statistician. She is involved in the Lagos State Public Service Reform Agenda since year 2006 in collaboration with Price Water House Cooper. She is still involve in on-going workforce Planning Exercise with the United Kingdom Department for International Department Partnership for Accountability, Responsiveness and Capacity [SPARC]. She has attended various training programmes, conferences and workshops sponsored by Lagos State Government. She is married with children.

Mr. Abayomi Tijani is an indigene of lkorodu, Lagos State of Nigeria. He is batched BSc in accountancy from Lagos State University in 2008. He is a member of different professional institute including Institute of Chartered Management Accountant [ICMA], National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria [NIMN]

Due to his immense contribution in lmo State where he went for his National Youth Service, he bagged a State award as second best corper.

Mr Abayomi Tijani is principled, generous, courageous, confident and God-fearing.

Mr. Sholanke Hammed Oluwaseun is an indigene of lkorodu State of Nigeria. He is a graduate of Mathematics and Economics. He joined Lagos State Civil Service in August, 2011,as procurement officer. He also posses graduate certificate in Management, proficiency certificate in Management, Certificate in Project Management Fundamentals, Certificate in Computer Utilisation.

Mr Sholanke Hammed Oluwaseun has worked with Lagos State Education District lll, Office of Surveyor General of Lagos State before being deployed to Lagos State office for disability affairs as the procurement officer. He is obedient and has the capacity to work without supervision. He is delighted watching news, football, listening to music as well as travelling.

Alagbala Kubrat Jumai is a Native of Ikorodu Local Government of Lagos State. She is a graduate of Osun State Polytechnic Iree with HND in Computer Science. Also, she is a Member of Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN).

She joined the Lagos State Civil Service on the 27th of October, 2011. As a Data Processing Officer of Ministry of Science and Technology. She was posted to Ikorodu General Hospital on the 2nd of February, 2012 and later deployed to Agbowa general Hospital as the Head of Information Communication technology (ICT) unit on 15th of May, 2013.

She is presently the Head of ICT unit of Lagos State office of disability affairs.
